Summary:
Requires Public Utiltiy Commission to develop a number of specific regulations for delivery and pricing of electricty for data centers that protects other customers’ supply and rates. Fees charged to data centers and funds directed to support energy costs for low-income residents and financing small-scale or community energy projects. Data centers must use at least 25% renewable energy. Utilities to report contracts with data centers and Commission to report publicly on data center impacts. Other complex measures to protect grid and supply from shocks casued by data centers.
