An Act to prohibit nondisclosure of certain agreements related to data centers. (HB 1246, SD)

Requires the Indiana utility regulatory commission to establish working group to: estimate the future electricity demands from data centers and report findings and recommendations to leglislature by October 2026. Data centers to report electricity usage quarterly; commission to publicly publish summary. Before permits granted for data center construction power and water usage to be disclosed and possible impacts regarding water, grid, carbon emissions, and agricultural, historic, and cultural resources.
