In Virginia, a coalition of more than 50 organizations pushes four pillars of data center reform: mandatory disclosure of energy and water use, state-level regulatory review, ratepayer cost protections and clean energy standards tied to tax exemptions. Dominion Energy has contracted 47 gigawatts for data centers, nearly triple its current peak capacity.
