AN ACT to amend the public service law, in relation to requiring new data centers to incorporate thermal energy networks (A9136, NY)

Requires new and expanded data centers to submit thermal energy network feasability studies prior to permitting, to be designed and operated to capture and reuse waste heat whenever possible, and to report on thermal energy recovery etc. State commission to publish map of themal energy network opportunities to guide siting.
