Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois. Defines “cryptocurrency” and “cryptocurrency mining”. Changes the definition of “qualifying Illinois data center” to include data centers engaged in cryptocurrency mining that made or committed to make a capital investment of at least $250,000,000 over a 60-month period prior to the effective date of the amendatory Act.
