Summary:
Requires Public Utility Commission approval to connect data centers to electrical grid. Commission to hire independent entity to forecast connection’s impact on grid at applicant’s expense. Commission to approve application if assessed as in public interest and service provider is aware of infrastructure impacts and resulting costs will be covered by data center
